Seth Sam
Children at Risk: Bati, Ministry Leader
Piseth Sam grew up in a family of 8 in Kampong Cham. He completed his Discipleship Training in the Philippines and became a founding member of the school in Phnom Penh. Having established DTS in Phnom Penh, he continued serving at UofN by leading outreach teams and teaching in the classes. By 2005, he had met and married his wife Samol.
Together they saw a need for the 70 families in Samol’s hometown called Kleang Sambatt Village in Bati, Takeo. Every Saturday they started ministering to the children by teaching Bible stories, playing games and giving out snacks.
As the ministry grew, they felt God call them to set up a permanent center. In December 2010, the Joy Community Center opened it’s doors. Today Seth and Samol serve through the center and reside in Takeo with their 3 children.
