Ango and Asui
Youth Assistance Project, Ministry Leader
Ango and Asui both grew up in Northeast India and came from Christian homes. In 2007, Ango was prompted by God to reach out to people in Southeast Asia and so, he decided to move to Cambodia in 2009. At the time, Asui had already settled in Cambodia and was working to develop a newYouth Development Center in the Kampong Cham province.
By the time they came to Cambodia, they had both completed their Discipleship Training (DTS), studied at School of Biblical Studies and also at the School of Frontier Missions through YWAM International.
They finally met in 2009 at UofN and started working together at the Youth Assistance Program. Today, Asui and Ango run the program’s dormitory. To supplement their income, Asui started working as an English teacher at an International Christian School.
Their hope is to one day plant churches in rural villages of Cambodia and believe they are paving the way to access these villages through the students in the dormitories.
